Hi I’m Jacqui and I would love to share my passion for textiles and the perfect garment fit with you. I am based in beautiful Shoalhaven Heads and service the South Coast region of NSW.
I have over 30yrs experience in alterations. I specialise in delicate and complicated alterations. Hand beading and hand sewing and working with vintage gowns are my favourites.
I have a degree majoring in textiles including the manufacture and care of fabrics as well as construction and design.
I have achieved multiple awards within my field including the brides choice/wedding industry award for my region for the last five years running. I also achieved best bridal alterations nationally in the Wedding industry awards for 2021 and second in 2022. Im currently a finalist in the Australian wedding industry awards for 2023
I run an all inclusive studio based business operating by appointment.I have disabled access but I do travel for disabled clients to provide a home service. I also travel to attend wedding days to dress and assist brides on their big day including dressing and steaming or all those little last minute dramas.
I offer an emergency response to wedding day disasters at any time.
I offer friendly and personal service for alterations both big and small. Working from my studio allows me to have flexible working hours and appointment times to meet your busy schedule.
I am currently contracted to complete alterations for some major retail chains in the region and I come highly recommended by many local bridal stores.
I run a fully registered and insured business to give you peace of mind.
I offer obligation free quotes and advice on all your alteration and textile needs. I love to share my knowledge and advice.
