About Jacqui – Personalised Bridal & Formalwear Alterations

With over 30 years of experience in garment alterations, I’ve built a business around quality craftsmanship, personal service, and genuine care. I’m also a proud mum of two, running my home-based studio in the beautiful Shoalhaven region. From here, I proudly service clients across the Shoalhaven, Illawarra, and Southern Highlands – with many couples also travelling from afar as part of destination weddings or thanks to my multi-award-winning reputation.

Having a home studio allows me to offer the warm, personalised service that’s so important when it comes to alterations—whether big or small. It also gives me the flexibility to offer appointment times that work around your busy schedule.

Inclusivity is at the heart of what I do. I provide in-home fittings for clients in the community with disabilities, ensuring everyone can access high-quality, stress-free service in a space that’s comfortable for them.

I also achieved “best bridal alterations” nationally in the  Australian Wedding awards  for 2021 and second in 2022, winner 2023 2024 and finalist for 2025 and currently reigning WINNER for 2024  in two categories.
